How to make your presentation work with you – not against you…

Make you audience aware of you, as well as your presentation
What do you think of when you hear the words’ powerpoint presentation?’ I can imagine there might be a few sighs, followed by a dredded thought of actually having to sit through one! In our experience, a lengthy slideshow makes for an incredibly boring pitch, with over crowded slides and unclear messages…

However, we have delivered some great, informative presentations, usually few words a couple of pics and that’s it. There is loads of stuff on the web about improving PowerPoint design but we would like to give you one incredibly useful tip – during a slide show when you want the audience to concentrate on what you’re saying and not the slide show, simply press the ‘B’ button. The screen goes black and you’ve got them focused on you. This ‘switch’ technique will help keep your audience engaged on the part of the presentation you deem most important – and will ensure that they don’t miss it!
